Image shown is actual grain. These are industrial grade 1" x 42" EX sanding belts. EX is a "NEW" standard "X" weight aluminum oxide poly cotton coated abrasive material, with a semi-closed coat. It is versatile and relatively inexpensive, providing oustanding performance for the money. EX is good for general sanding of both wood or metal.
